Department Capital Improvement Project (CIP) grant priority lists are used by the governor and the legislature to determine school construction and major maintenance projects for capital budget funding. An initial list is released November 5, a reconsideration list is posted in mid-December, with a final list submitted for State Board of Education approval after any district appeal of the reconsideration is finalized. For more detail see the CIP process summary (pdf).
Go to Capital Improvement Project Application, Information, & References for information on submitting a CIP application.
